125 / Rough start of the year does not define us

It's not uncommon to have a rough start to the new year. Sometimes, despite our best efforts and intentions, things don't go as planned. Well hey, just remind yourself of one thing - that every day is a new opportunity to start fresh and make the most out of the year ahead.

It's easy to let setbacks and disappointments define us, but it's important to remember that we have the power to shape our own lives and make this year our own. These setbacks can either hold us back, or motivate and drive us to push forward and achieve our goals.

Let’s own this year by setting clear and achievable goals. Write down what we want to accomplish this year, and break them down into smaller, manageable steps. Hopefully we’ll stay focused and motivated throughout the year.

Our body is a vessel, and we need to control of our mindset. It's easy to get caught up in negative thoughts and feelings, but it's important to remember that our thoughts and emotions are not facts. We have the power to change our perspective and choose to focus on the positive.

It's also important to remember that we don't have to do it alone. Surround yourself with people who support and encourage you. Whether it's friends, family, or a mentor, having a support system can make all the difference in achieving your goals.

This year is our year. Let’s not be afraid to take risks and try new things. Try it. Step out of our comfort zone and take the leap of faith if we must. That is me convincing and comforting myself. Get out of that snug comfort. Out.

Again, the start of the year doesn't define the rest of it. We have the power to make this year our own, by setting clear and achievable goals, taking control of our mindset, surround ourselves with supportive people and taking risks. So don't let a rough start get us down, let's make this year the best one yet!
