Yes, the eldest cousin in the family just got hitched. Everyone knows that the second eldest is me. Next is Iman. But he's a man. So the focus is still on the second one.
Oww stop pointing already, it hurts!
I guess I am at that age where your family will start pressuring you with all these remarks. I'm sure all of you (girls) are on with that too when you are part of the waiting list.
"So Kakak! I'm old already, don't wait so long la okay give me grandchildren."
"We have everything planned out for you. All you need to do is a find a good calon suami."
"Arwah Atuk dah tak sempat tengok kau nikah. Jangan lah tunggu sampai aku tak sempat baru nak nikah?"
"Tin, Kak Long dah sudah. Atin bila lagi?"
"Ain, bila (note the usage of 'bila' instead of 'kalau') Ain kahwin nanti, Opah akan duduk rumah PJ seminggu!'
*flips table*
Most of the time, I wish I was invisible. Weiii take a chill pill already! I somehow knew this was coming though, considering the fact that I am next in line after Kak Long.
However, I find it really sweet that my family have everything sorted out for me. They really want this to happen. I keep on telling them, "Jangan risau, insyaAllah dah sampai jodoh nanti baru we discuss.................."
When it's time, it's time. God is great! I believe every human being in this world is made for another human being. Indirectly saying, I am ready.
Mom said something that made me go *bzzz* in the brain.
"Your expiry date is December this year to March next year. Go find yourself a boyfriend."
Insane in the membrane.
My next boyfriend would be my husband.
InsyaAllah.
